Great speakers! Excited to use them. They have a small hum while powered up, sitting idle, and volume above 50%, but the hum is drowned out once music starts. I would have given 5 stars on the item description, but the inner packaging around one of the speakers was full of what looked like buck shot, spilled all over when unpackaging the speaker. That being said, the seller, idjnow, shipped quickly and provided outstanding customer service when contacting them. I give them 5 stars.

    Pioneer can do a little better for djs

    I got the “5” for just listening to trax for use in my sets. I own “10”s and an old pair of 2000s and 1500s headphones. Those are exquisite dj headphones that I use LIVE and for critical listening of my own mixes and that of others. The “5” is huge disappointment as they don’t feel like pro nor do they really sound like pro. In fact the micro jack you insert into one ear cup keeps shorting out and I get either one ear or none at all. I knew I was taking a chance on these real budget headphones but I expected more from Pioneer. Oh well it’s part of the diminution of quality as time goes along.
