Thank you. Good price, packed well and arrived in perfect condition and earlier than promised. The round part of the shaft on the threaded end is a little longer than the original equipment on my six year old GE Profile frig, but everything seems to fit and the ice dispenser seems to work like new, so I guess it works. It s possible that GE made a running change during the last 6 years and that this is the latest improved design...??? Anyway, everything seems good so far

    GE WR17X11939 Ice Make Auger

    The Auger is high quality. It Complies well with Proper 'Fit, Form, and Function'. Removing and Replacing the old auger with the new one is straight forward. Might note that the nylon washer/bushing/retainer nut has Left Hand Threads. One can consult YouTube for a detailed show and tell episode before undertaking the auger replacement.

    Great price, but cheaply made

    It was a really great price, but the quality was quite poor. The original dispenser had a solid steel shaft. This one was aluminum and made pretty cheap. I had to file the shaft to get the original steel washers on. Seems to be working fine. I am a little concerned on how long it will last.

    Excellent product!

    This was a very good buy. It fit right in our 10 yr. old Whirlpool side by side refrigerator. It took my husband less than 15 minutes to install the entire product. He didn't need instructions or pictures. I can't believe as quickly it started making ice and we were back to normal in under a day. I must add that my husband is one of those people that can fix anything so keep that in mind when you are installing it! There was no retro fitting or surprises to the installation.

    Pay very close attention on putting back together EXACTLY how it came apart or it will jam up and not work.

    Works great. Ice cube maker has been broken over a year. Nice to have it back. Have learned to check for ice build up in bucket monthly causing Auger to jam and break. Just another “live and learn” situation.
