This "soft as butter" heavy foam material lets artists produce printmaking plates without cutting tools - just use a wooden stylus, pencil or ballpoint pen! The sensitive surface easily imprints with shapes, lines and textures. Each "plate" can make dozens of clear prints on the paper of your choice. Just roll on water-based ink, press with a rubbing stick or brayer and print!

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The photos are of sheets that were in the MIDDLE of the stack. The outside sheets were worse. It looked like they had been dropped on the floor, walked on and then collected and repackaged.
Used these printing plates with my elementary art classes. The kids used wooden styluses to imprint their designs, then inked and transferred them to watercolor paintings they'd already done. The printing plates worked great - did exactly what I wanted them to, although I did learn that it's better not to skimp by buying the really cheap value-brand ink (which didn't work *anywhere* near as well as the medium-grade or professional stuff).
Anyway, as the for the printing plates, I was completely satisfied - they worked perfectly for my purposes. The only reason I gave the product 4 stars instead of 5 is that (as several other reviewers have commented) many of the corners were dinged up either before or during shipping. So that was kind of a shame, but honestly not too big of a problem, since second graders are probably gonna bend them a little anyway, just due to the way they handle things.
